XX CD Sleeve Deconstruction

Today I deconstructed the XX cd sleeve I bought to see how the elements of the design worked together and the net design.

...it is a fairly simple net design which can easily be replicated with my shape where the 'X' currently sits. I am going to use this plastic inner case in my design.

Saturdays to-do list

Going into college today and seen as it is only open until 4 I thought I best write a to-do-list to ensure I use my time wisely....

..&just about got it all done, didn't I!!

Ident1 Alterations

Key framed the audio to fade out

Used markers on the audio to find where boxes should enter in time to beat.

Aligned the transitions to the audio.

Opacity key framing the logo into the sequence

I copied and pasted the same keyframe onto the boxes too so that they all have the same opacity transition proportions.

Gradient Artwork

These are the Illustrator gradient files I used within my compositions....

Also this in my title sequence...

Ident 3 Alterations

Ident 3 needs a fair bit of work in relation to its timings and audio volume levels (far too loud and needs to fade at the end)

I lowered the volume of the audio using the main audio control.

...key framed the end to fade out. This occurs at quite an early stage but I am going to shift some of the introductions of type further forward to allow time for the web address to appear as the audio fade occurs.

...I had to make the day and date on separate layers so that they could then appear a different times.

Ident2 Alterations

To make ident2 run smoother, I have incorporated some more opacity key frames into the sequence. This has given my sequence a softer feel and to make the transitions smoother.
