We used these three articles to attempt to work out the grid being used throughout this newspaper.

Type Size

We worked out that this bold title was 67.5/104pt

Lettering = 13.5pt x 5 = 67.5pt

Line feed = 13pt x 8 = 104pt

Leading = 13pt x 3 = 39pt

We worked this smaller heading to be 30/50pt

Lettering = 10pt x 3 = 30pt

Linefeed = 10pt x 5 = 50pt

Leading = 10pt x 2 = 20pt

Lettering = 6pt x 1 = 6 pt

Linefeed = 7pt x 1 = 7pt

Leading = 1pt x 1 = 1pt
